The WFF inaugural Wiffle Ball fundraiser consisted of two events, also named and branded by our team: a day-long corporate sponsor tournament called "Woody's Wiffle Ball Classic" followed by a special nighttime celebrity game, "Wiffle for a Diffle,” which attracted big names including Bill Murray, Matthew Perry and Jenny McCarthy. We gave each event its own look (both inspired by classic baseball) and designed to work either as part of an overall brand system—or independently—as the Foundation evolves over time. At the end of the day, the Wood Family Foundation raised an incredible $490,000 throughout the event — a huge success for this inaugural effort.
